Materials:
Baby yarn 1 oz.
#4 knitting needles (or English size 9)
yarn needle
Gauge:
6 sts = 1“
13 rows = 1”
Directions: Beginning at back, cast on 48 sts. Work in garter st for 26 rows. Bind off 11 sts at beg of next 2 rows—26 sts. K 20 rows even.
Next row: Dec 1 st each side—24 sts. K 1 row even.
Next 2 rows: K 2 tog across. Break yarn, draw through remaining 6 sts, pull up, fasten securly (toe).
Finishing: Steam-press very lightly. Fold bootie in half. Weave front seam; weave back seam.
Ties: make two twisted cords each 16” long. Run through ankle, tie into bow. Fold down cuff.
