Materials:

Size 10 knitting needles
DK or sport weight yarn

Note: If using bulkier yarn, use larger knitting needles and continue row 4 until about 28-30" from first row along edge of blanket. There will be less than 190 sts on the needle. Begin decreasing.

Instructions:

Cast on 4 sts
K 4 across
Row 1 - K 4 across again
Row 2 - K2 , YO, K2
Row 3 - K3, YO, K2 (6 sts)
Row 4 - K3, YO, K rest of row
Continue row 4 until 190 sts
K2 , K2tog, YO, K2tog, K rest of row
Continue decreasing until 8 sts remain
K2 , K2tog, K2tog, K1, K1 (6 sts)
K1, K2tog, K2tog, K1 (4 sts)
K4
Bind off - K2 pull 1 st st over 2 nd (1 left) K1
Pull over, K1 continue til 1 st remains. Pull up. Cut yarn. Finish off.
