Materials:
4 ply yarn in two colors
H or I crochet hook

With color A, chain 4 or 5. Sl st to join.

Row 1 - Ch 2 and dc eleven times in ring. Sl st in top of ch 2 to join (12 dc)

Row 2 - Ch 2 and dc in same st. 2 dc in each dc around. Sl st in top of ch 2 to join. (24 dc)

Row 3 - Ch 2; *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st*; repeat ** around. Sl st in top of ch 2 to join. (36 dc)

Row 4 - Ch 2; dc in next st *2 dc in next st, dc in next 2 st*; repeat ** around. Sl st in top of ch 2 to join. (48 dc)

Rows 5 and 6 - Ch 2; dc in each st around. Sl st in top of ch 2 to join.

Row 7 - With color B, repeat instructions as per row 5.

Row 8 - With color A, repeat instructions as per row 5.

Row 9 - With color B, hdc in each st around. Join and finish off.
