On wrong side of cotton fabric, trace burping pad pattern (hourglass or butterfly). |

Pin right side of cotton fabric to right side of terry cloth. Sew fabrics together having stitches follow along the traced pattern, leaving an opening of about 3-4" to turn the burping pad. |

Cut fabric along edges, about ¼" outside stitching. |

Cut notches along stitched edge of burping pad around curves. |
5. |
Turn burping pad right side out. Fold in unsewed edge and match fabric to terry cloth edge. Stitch opening closed, close to the edge. |

Stitch around entire edge of burping pad about 1/8" from the outer edge...sewing paper burping pad label to the margin. |

Press. |

With a pencil, lightly trace heart or bear shaped pattern onto each end of the burping pad. |

Sewing about 15 stitches/inch, sew along penciled design. |
